Wintery Vulture Display

Big wet flakes of snow plummeting out of the sky, along with cold ground temperatures and no chance of a thermal ride up, provided for overall poor flying conditions on the day.  The local buzzards for some reason decided to camp out for the entire day in the neighbors pine.  Throughout the day a game of king of the mountain was played with exchanges of perches and challenging wing displays.  These were taken with our point and click Lumix.

It's a tough way to make a living.

Clearly, I better keep my day job....
