North Carolina Weekend

Race fan appreciation day at the local Orange County Speedway.  $20 bucks covers all you can load up in your car.  Wild races, thundering sounds, and pit crew fights, major fun!  Was also a chance to try out my replacement lens an 1980's cannon 50mm f/1.2

  1. Left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn... I love it! Living the North Carolina dream. Land of fast cars and well... fast cars! Yeah! Makes me want to tear my shirt off and whirl it over my head. Looks like there was a good wreck. Loving the new lens and pics. What is your setup these days. I'm so bad, I know.

  2. It was awesome, just wish I could have had my mullet going on. I'm dialed in with a Panasonic Lumix GF1 body from ebay. And I've got two used cannon manual focus lenses (telephoto and prime). Its awesome fun, and the lenses are really spectacular.

  3. Good work in low light. It's really hard to beat the "antique" lenses the big boys produced back then...especially when you consider the $$$ for high quality new glass.
