Top photo "smudged" in Photoshop, others with fill in flash on a cloudy November day.
Great looking family. Nice portraits. Everyone looks pretty relaxed, what's your secret? Also the orange shirts and sweatshirts are super intense, is that a photoshop effect or just the lighting that day?
Thanks, I 'warmed up' the top photo, but the individuals are as is. To get relazed, I just threatened to keep them out until i got what i wanted. and I posed hands, they don't look natural when they are natural.
Hah! Pulling the parent card, I love it. I recently read a digital photographer who hooks up a monitor to their camera, and then faces the monitor towards their subject so they can see their own image as the capture is taking place. The quality of the photo apparently puts the subject as ease. But I like your method better ;-)
