North Carolina Weekend

Race fan appreciation day at the local Orange County Speedway.  $20 bucks covers all you can load up in your car.  Wild races, thundering sounds, and pit crew fights, major fun!  Was also a chance to try out my replacement lens an 1980's cannon 50mm f/1.2

Kitten Picture

Nothing special here. Just a picture of a kitten in a logpile.

Juxtaposition

Weeding the garden has become an evening-time endeavor as the temperatures have risen into the 90's. After bending over for a good 45 minutes I noticed a few clouds swirling overhead as I stretched my back. The dead tree provided an interesting contrast. A couple photos with my phone and a little fixing in Elements to reproduce what I saw.

Retro Photo

Original photo fogged as a result of high humidity.  So, messing with Adobe Photoshop (final step B&W) and the picture looks old again.... then framed to add back a little color.
